Privacy Policy
1. What we collect
- On your device only (never sent to us): the name you enter, your birth date (used to compute your sign), journal entries, mood and habit logs, language and preferences. This lives in your device's local storage and is removed if you uninstall the app or clear its data.
- We do NOT collect: your real identity, contacts, location, photos, or microphone.
- Audio: guided audio is pre-recorded and bundled as files. Your journal, name and other personal text are never sent anywhere to play it.
2. Payments (Oluvani Plus)
If you subscribe, payment is handled entirely by Google Play Billing / Apple. We never see or store your card details. The store shares only limited, non-card transaction data needed to grant your subscription.
3. Analytics & website
Anonymous analytics: we use Umami on the app and website. It is cookieless, does no cross-site tracking, collects no personal data, and needs no consent banner. It records only aggregate, anonymous events (e.g. an app open, a completed ritual or meditation, a page visit) and language. It never receives your journal, mood, name or birth date. No advertising SDKs are present.
Anonymous app ID: each app install generates a random ID stored only on your device, so we can understand how the app is used over time. It is not tied to your identity and a fresh install gets a new one. Your journal, moods, and name never leave your device.
Newsletter (optional): if you choose to enter your email in the optional signup on our website, we store it on our EU servers and use it only to tell you about Oluvani (launch news and occasional ritual notes). We never sell or share it, and you can unsubscribe or ask us to delete it at any time. Legal basis: your consent. Your journal and Journey are never sent to us, they stay on your device. If you instead simply email us at oi@oluvani.com, we use your message and address solely to reply to you.
4. Children
Oluvani's content is suitable for ages 13+. The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. Purchases require an adult / appropriate store controls.
5. Your rights (GDPR / LGPD)
Because your data stays on your device, you are in control: view, edit, or delete it in-app, or clear it entirely by deleting the app. For any data we may process (e.g. support emails), you have rights of access, correction, deletion, and objection, contact oi@oluvani.com.
- EU users: you may complain to your local authority.
- Brazil users (LGPD): you may contact the ANPD.
6. Third parties we rely on
- App stores (Google/Apple) for distribution and payments, see their privacy policies.
- Bunny.net (EU CDN/hosting, Falkenstein DE), delivers the website and audio files; receives only standard request metadata (e.g. IP) needed to serve them.
7. Changes
We'll update this page and the "last updated" date for material changes.
